My name is Nick and I am an electrical engineer who specializes in signal processing and biomedical instrumentation. This website will tell you about who I am, what I like to do, what I have done, and what I want to do.
Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in microsystems engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. My research involves using compressed sensing and advanced signal processing techniques to revolutionize cardiac monitoring. Additionally, I specialize in algorithm development, signal processing, and low power embedded system design. I plan on graduating by the end of 2015.
My dream is to revolutionize the future of medicine and healthcare with novel portable medical devices. I am interested in startups that focus on integrating medical devices into everyday objects and wearable medical devices.
I enjoy working on many different projects and runs two blogs: NJC’s MSP430 LaunchPad Blog and Hardware Breakout. I am an entrepreneur at heart, and cannot wait to get into the world of startups.
