My passion is to bring clinical grade medical devices to the consumer through revolutionary wearable and internet of things (IoT) technologies. I specialize in custom algorithm development, ultra-low power embedded system and instrumentation design, signal processing, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, and cloud infrastructure. I have experience in project management and leading a multidisciplinary team.

At the start of my PhD, I conceived of a novel cardiovascular monitoring system and subsequently received funding from Google (ATAP) for the development of a completely custom and comprehensive cardiovascular monitoring system integrated into a toilet seat. After the successful development of the Fully Integrated Toilet seat, I successfully spearheaded the verification of the entire system and associated algorithms through 5 IRB approved studies. Studies were completed on over 300 subjects with and without cardiovascular disease, in partnership with two local health care systems: the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) and Rochester Regional Health (RRH).

I am currently pursuing the commercialization of the Fully Integrated Toilet seat and am interested in expanding my professional network, funding opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
